I know we all have days when it's stressful at work, but at the end of the day, I'm so happy to go home. I just sit on my couch and catch up on a TV show I haven't seen in a while.
On my days off, I do stuff not really related to work unless I have to do something online.
I feel like it gets you stressed out when you're supposed to be able to relax when you're not at work.
I can see how some jobs can be so stressful that it stays with you for a while though.
I obsess too much about the person I need to vent about. But, given that my workspace is in my bedroom, once I log off, it's pretty much not on my mind, nor do I even think about touching it after hours.
I have to vent.. But, once I get the opportunity to vent, i'm fine. It's like the pressure relief valve. You don't let off a little steam, you wind up shooting 50 feet in the air like an exploding hot water heater.
Some of my favorite descriptive terms for people I break out to blow off steam..

When it comes to problems causing stress I leave them at work when I walk out the door, in order to preserve my sanity. As a manager I am somewhat on call 24/7 but rarely get bothered at home.
I'm usually able to let go of a day of work, but there are occasions when something occurs that spills over. That's usually when there's a situation that I feel is going to cause "damage"--in terms of people, costs, production, etc.-- and I don't know what role I should play, if any, in defusing it. Then I'm debating inside my head, and there's nothing better than the ear of someone who doesn't work there to help me stop running in thought circles... so I can enjoy the rest of my evening/weekend.
I like to plan things and analyze things, so at home I might think about work and at work I might think about home. I got a problem that needs fixing, I am not sure how to go about it. Another issue is that I am not sure I like one my of my coworkers, he is not easy to work with and has his mind in the wrong place. Others have complained about him. With him I feel like I might get myself into some drama (small office politics).
