I get that "Happy Friday" from the security guard every week when I come into the office, and I figure it's just something to say besides "good morning." It doesn't bother me, though I do think people who celebrate the last work day of the week may be in the wrong job. I suppose many have no alternative, but while I enjoy my weekends I actually look forward to Monday morning and going back to face the challenges of the week.
Is there anything about your job that you do like? It seems like you nitpick all of your coworkers from the 45 year-old intern to the people who say "Happy Friday!" every Friday. If they don't interfere with your work and they get their work done, why should it matter?
Better than hearing people say " Looks like someone has the case of the Mondays"
