A good review and a 2000 dollar raise. Should I be happy? (company, pay)

This past year was tough at work. I saw a lot of people fail and crash/burn.
I was even worried about my own self because I had NO idea how I was doing, I knew that I was trying my hardest, was dedicated and had a great attitude.
Well reviews happened and I got an outstanding review along with a $2000.00 raise. My bonus also increased but is contingent upon hitting certain "goals" and "bench marks"
I know what everyone is going to say, it cancels out because of inflation. But being a single guy I barely have to "spend" any money if i don't want to.
Also gas went from 3.78 to under 2.00 recently.
So my question is should I be happy with this raise? I am happy of course because originally I worked at a company that did not give me a dime extra after two full years with a solid track record.
I jumped to another company and got FIRED.
Now I am making the most money I have ever made and 2000 extra is like what 100 dollars more a pay check? that is a lot to me actually.
Raises are typically based on your earnings. If you earn $20k/year, $2k is great. If you earn $100k per year, $2k is simply a COLA, and not a particularly generous one.

Any raise is better than none. My last one was only $2,400 so I have to say it's not too bad.
