Have no idea, the W2s haven't come yet for me or my wife and the IRS will not have the new rules in place for itemized deductions for another month.

I'll be happy to break even, as I paid out the last 2 years.

Typically I reserve at least half of it to pay for my property taxes. The rest could be for anything.

But this year we may actually have to pay due to a retirement that my partner had to cash in early.

I had to cash out 2 of my retirement funds a couple of years ago when I unemployed (I was a 99er). I had to just to survive and I didn't owe anything. We actually got refunds both years.

I had an IRA account and money in a k plan from another employer I worked for. I made sure they took out the penalties when I withdrew both funds.
