Hey i took this job that i stand at the door all day and greet ppl. I didn’t apply of this job they placed me there. theres opprotunity to move up but i really dont like this. i don’t know if i should ask the manager to look at my experience or if I should quit already. thanks
If you gotten written up already for not doing your job correctly, I would not ask your manager if you can move up. Either quit or get good at your job first.

The first problem it seems is that you thought your job was simply to greet people, but in fact there is some responsibility having to do with checking receipts. It's hard to move up until you have learned and been successful at the current position. learn from your mistakes and don't make them again.
i know i learn from my mistakes. I dont understand why i am in the position I’m in. i dont want to complain cause I need this job for money. If i keep moving around, it doesn’t look good in a job application.
