Work 3 hours on Saturday, then off until Wednesday on job #1. Will probably mix some Lyft rides in until then.

You forgot one choice on your poll........some of us are working the entire holiday weekend. My workweek is Sunday through Thursday , so I work on Monday (my birthday too) and on Tuesday, the 4th. But I've done that for years, even working Easter, etc, so it is no big deal.

I'm on call until Monday 8:00 AM. We have the 4th off, but have to pay for it from our own PTO. I decided to take Monday off anyway.

I get the 4th off unless it falls on a weekend, then I get the following Monday off. So this year, I get Tuesday the 4th off only.

We only get the 4th, but I have approved PTO on Monday for several of my staff. It should be a nice quiet day at the office.

I normally work minor holidays (of which I count July 4 as one) because I really only need off for the big ones like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

However, this year I've opted to use PTO for both July 3 and July 4, even though only July 4 is an approved holiday for my company. So this year, I'll enjoy my 4-day weekend.

July 4 itself is the only day that we are closed. Huge numbers of people are taking the 3rd as a vacation day, so we are operating with a skeleton crew. Many people are also taking Friday.

I took several extra days off around Memorial Day, so I am working the third to that others may take the day off. We tend to swap holidays like that to cover for one another.
