Not asking about how much they cover for you, but what % of your dependent/family insurance benefits does your employer cover?

They pay the full premiums for life insurance and Accidental death and Dismemberment, the amount is 2.5 times annual salary. We can add life on a spouse/child but have to pay $1,000/year. We can also add to the benefit but have to pay the additional premium. Long term disability is also fully paid by them, benefit is 60% of salary.

As in health insurance? My company pays 100% of the premium regardless of the number of people covered for the base HMO plan. If you want the fancier PPO, employees pay the difference in the premium above what the comparable HMO would cost. I use the HMO, so they cover 100%.

For health insurance, it amounts to about 95% of the premiums. I pay just under $40/month, they pay about $800.

I pay 99% for the employees (I make them pay a single percentage for tax purposes). I pay 1% of dependent care to make it fair and equitable to those who have no dependents. My employees fully understand I'm hiring them for their skills and ability, not their family. If an employee makes the personal decision to hump and pump, the offspring is on them and has no bearing on their employment benefits.

The ratio is actually 75% covered by the company to 25% by the employee.

I don't have any dependents.

For me, I pay 60%, they pay 40%. Roughly $120/pp vs. $80/pp.

For me it is an 80/20 split, but the exact percentages differ depending on which plan you choose and how many dependents you have.
