I have never liked the idea of working for someone else. Should I feel bad about not liking my jobs. It seems as if none of these darn companies cares about any of their employees. Why should I have any loyalty?

I can't wait to get my home based biz started. Am I wrong for feeling like this.

The only reason you should have loyalty is in one day hopes of retiring for a Company.

No you are not wrong, why should you be loyal? My husband worked his a$$ off for his employer for 16 years, worked the overtime they asked, kissed their butts, everything! Then the plant shut down. I say watch your back and keep your options open, companies do not care about their employee's. They only care about their product. Any employee is as disposable as a paper cup.

Another way to tell if you work for a good company. Think to yourself how many people have you seen retire from it?

Was your husband paid for his overtime? I love when people say companies only care about their product. Of course they care about their product that's why they started the business. Stop confusing companies with social welfare agencies. Is a plant supposed to stay open without earning a profit because your husband worked there for 16 years?

Start your own business. I'd do it too if I had the resources. Companies may not be social welfare agencies but some could care less than others. They'll chew you up and spit you out when all is said and done. Do you want to feel used and unappreciated?

NEVER be LOYAL to a company. If you work there, give them a days work for a days pay but no more. And you are right- they don't give a crap about you. You are a just on the "liability" side of their ledger.
