What is truly amazing is that, according to www.money.cnn.com, the UAW and the U.S. Treasury will own an overwhelming majority of GM. Yet they are allowed to invest heavily in China??
can't really blame them for wanting to continue operating in one of the few places they're still doing well.

I expect the United Stated will hit a minimum of a 10% unemployment rate if this happens!

What are your thoughts?

I think it stinks. It makes me reflect on my father's advice. "Don't spend money you don't have and save money out of every paycheck for an emergency." 9 weeks is a bit over 2 months. Ideally, this everyone should be able to pay their bills for that time out of their savings. But many can't. That's another topic. It's too bad that this is happening. I hope the US auto industry survives this. It's good for all of us.

Maybe just maybe we should all follow that advise. Or we could make it 9 1/2 weeks which would make me a very happy man!

PS Kim Basinger was so so HOT!
