profession to go with these figures. I am seeing pretty good pay, but it doesn't mean anything at all without knowing what the heck the job is. Interesting thread but makes me want to know more!

$18/hour at my fulltime job

$20.26 at my other part time job, but I only have one or two 4-hour shifts there a week.

You're what? 20 years old? That's a good salary for someone that young to make.

Yeah, somehow their dollars don't quite help the economy the way others' dollars do, haven't quite figured out that one ... yet.

With benefits I make about $36/hour, depending on how much overtime. More overtime => less per hour. I'm sallaried. A buddy of mine was fired from my company and found a job making $55/hr as a contractor. I feel underpaid.

The most I ever made per hour was $75 working freelance in video production. Too bad it was only 4 hours of work, lol.

I'm currently making $18.87 at a job that sucks so much ass, I'm quitting as soon as I find something that pays no less than $12 an hour.

Bringing home over $500 a week in an area that has a pretty low cost of living is really great, but no amount of money can make up for come home from work in a bad mood. I'd rather take a $200 a week pay cut and leave with a smile.

Trust me, take a job that puts a roof over your head and food on your table. Just make sure you enjoy what you do. If you don't enjoy it, the money is not worth it.

I know; right? But I do believe some of them especially when benefits are added to the mix, and it should be. This is one of the reasons our economy is tanked and wages in many regards need to be re-adjusted or things are going to get worse for all of us. But that means adjusting a lot of other things too...I'm not looking forward to the next 5-10 years.
