I am opening a small diner/ice cream parlor. I also have eight kids. I have heard that the labor laws are relaxed a little if your own kids are working for you. I can't find this written down anywhere. Is thos the case or is it just harder to enforce because your kids won't turn on you.

There a lots of laws about employment of children. Some about how many hours and when they can work. What types of equipment they can operate, etc. The local empoyment office should have this info.

Best thing is that you do not have pay or deduct for empoyment taxes for your children, a 14.7% savings
