Please use real facts. Please also link to your own date, so I can see where you are getting it.

The only thing we're gaining in is Press Freedom. Up to 32nd, from 48th during the Bush White House.

I did GDP (PPP)

but 11, 16 and 15 not between 20th and 30th and out of the almost 200 countries 11, 16 and 15th is not bad.

Is there a reason why you ignored the rest of my post?
like about our OECD and HDI ranking?

Because none of your post references the present thread, but rather your digging out posts in other forums, and your childish reference to the Onion..

I try to have an on topic conversation on here but people are too scared to answer my questions...
except for you, you are a brave one.

I guess that makes the food quality in the E.U is pretty bad?
On topic:
The list is no surprise, those very rich European tax havens and small countries and city-states are on top of the leader boards.
but if you actually look at the numbers they are very close
Australia which ranked 10 has a life expectancy of 81.98 years old.
Austria which ranked 33 has a life expectancy only about 2 years less at 80.
South Africa is unbelievably low, i kinda wanna think its a typo.

The food CHOICES some Americans make is the key to our mediocre life expectancy, which is just below Denmark's and Portugal's, so it is not "developing world" by any standard. People have adopted fast food as a big part of their diet, and that impacts on their health and longevity.
Agreed, America and Australia do have wonderful food and some of the best restaurants I've encountered in the English speaking world. England comes close behind these two.

America's middling life expectancy is due to its high rate of obesity, diabetes, imbalanced diets, and lack of exercise (many towns and suburbs are 100% non-walkable). Cancer SURVIVAL rates in the US are among the highest in the world; doctors here favor very early and aggressive treatments, and the results are among the best internationally. America does some things right, you know, contrary to your set agenda here.
High fructose corn syrup is a big contirbutor to health problems in America. I believe HFCS is banned in other places of the world.

Macau isn't a neighboring country, it's just a city within China.

Mexico is really close to the U.S, which is amazing.

"Macau (/məˈkaʊ/; Chinese: 澳門), also spelled Macao, is one of the two special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China (PRC), the other being Hong Kong."

Crazy that everyone sees the US as first world and some view Mexico as third world and theres only a 2 year difference in life expectancy. I however consider Mexick to be second world- "developing status."

Greece has also been downgraded to "developing" status and their life expectancy is higher than America's.
