Among Native peoples, be they the native Americans, aborigine Australians or native Canadians on reservations etc. it seems like they have low or poor socioeconomic status. If you count South Africa, it also fits this trend with its inequality between African natives and whites.

In which New world countries are the natives most well-off and equal to most other citizens of the country?

Bolivia should be a contender in terms of integration with the society as a whole. Hell, their current President is of Native descent!

Maoris are more represented and integrated than aborigines (for instance there are approximately as many Maoris as there are aborigines, despite NZ being about 1/40th the size with less than a quarter of the population), but i think socio-economically they still lag behind the 'pakeha' or white people. Of course, like Australia there are significant numbers of Maori who are of mostly European ancestry, and how they identify is a personal thing. There are doubtless many mostly white New Zealanders with some Maori ancestry.

The Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act has made some native Alaskan communities and individuals quite wealthy too, but there's still a lot of poverty there.
