In comparison to Eurasia.

Not so much Canada but United States citizens. It puzzles
me how I see Burger King and McDOnalds get so many
customers here and places like Subway get little
customers in comparison here on a typical day. It seems
like even older people here make those kind of choices.

Are people not as health conscious here like they are
elsewhere or what? I can only imagine how these same
people eat at home since what you choose to eat for a
restaurant reflects your home food choices as well.

Why are Eurasians so obsessed with what Americans do to the point of being inaccurate. Some places have more Subway locations than McDonald's. Many people also eat inside McD's where as Subway tends to attract more carry out customers. Subway is also, in my opinion the worst sandwich chain. Jersey Mike's is leaps and bounds beyond Subway.

True, it's very processed which is one reason I dislike it so much.

subway especially with that jared nonsense has successfully managed to manipulate many people over the years into thinking they can lose weight eating sammiches

stuff you can easily make at the house you can pay $5 or more for... then you have a bag of chips and a cookie to go with the bread you just scarfed down and you think your doing ok...smh

if i am going to treat myself to fast food i WILL eat bad and enjoy it. eurasians need to get them some business

Americans eat what they want to eat and most of use do not compare
ourselves with each other let alone anyone from another country.
We would also be the ones who don't care what anyone else thinks about
how we dress, what we do for fun and how we eat.

Your assumption that chosen food out is the same at home is completely wrong.
My Husband and I only eat fast food if we are traveling, it is late and that is the
only choice available which means we might eat fast food a couple times a year.
Otherwise I am cooking at home because I enjoy cooking and my Husband has
dietary restrictions that I tend to on a daily basis.

I can only imagine how often your disparaging thoughts of people out in society
reflect your thoughts on those you have at home...

Given the same lifestyle, Europeans tend to have the same diet as Americans.

I don't know where in America you're talking about. In Montgomery County, Maryland, there is practically every kind of ethnic food and restaurant you can think of. And tons of farmer's markets and healthy food options. However, this is part of a major, high-income metro area (Washington DC).

What you're describing sounds like a socioeconomic class issue most likely.

And they say Americans are ignorant people lol... just look at the above generalizations.

Burger King and McDonalds are publicly traded companies, meaning their financials are open to the public. You would see that fast food chains like McDonalds and Burger King are declining in the US, while increasing in many other countries. You would also find that now more than ever, people are demanding organic options in grocery stores. Check out Whole Foods, heck even more conventional grocery stores are offering organic products now too.

With that being said, there are still a lot of unhealthy eaters, but to make blanket statements is very ignorant and makes you sound like an idiot.

I think Americans being bad eaters is a stereotype. Most Americans that I know do not eat at fast food restaurants and actually try to eat healthy food/s.
