^ I disagree with you on "weather" for Australia as that category unequivocally goes to the US. Not everyone likes warm weather, in fact many hate it. The US offers climatic variety that no other country in the world offers.

True, but education doesn't only refer to top tier universities such as Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Yale, the UC ones... etc. and for those that don't have 6.0 high school GPA's and don't have multimillionaire grand parents....well it's another story. Aside from the top tier universities...the education is completely embarrassing given the fact that the US is a first world country. It's even more embarrassing than the healthcare system. Just go outside and talk to anyone about anything and see lol

There is no way that Australia is even close to the climactic variety of the U.S.

How did this comment even go unchallenged for so long?

Really?

The US has very few tropical, semi-tropical and savannah climate areas which Australia has in relative abundance, and Australia's desert areas span a greater latitude range than do those in the US. If you look at the north-south distance (a primary driver of climate variation) between southern Tasmania and Northern Queensland, its a lot greater than southern Florida to northern New England. https://www.aboutaustralia.com/austr...mpared-to-usa/ When folk in southern Aus are skiing and now boarding, up north they're enjoying 35C tropical days by the pool.

Sure the US has Alaska, but then Australia has its populated offshore territories as well, all of which have a very different climates to the mainland.

The Us has tropical climate, ever heard of Hawaii and Puerto Rico?

When folks in Sioux falls South Dakora are freezing under -15C, folks in Miami are tanning at the beach.

By the way, Australia can be UNBEARABLY HOT.... the US has vast expanses of land where temperature can be balmy and pleasant for a lot of months durign the year.

Yes, but they are both very small compared to Australia's range of tropical, semitropical and tropical savannah environments.
