Please don't say "my own country's" just because you are patriotic. We are talking about purely the music, regardless the words and country.

And the very first reply violates the specific terms laid out in the OP.

The obvious choices, by a wide margin, are Russia and France.

I like the Philippines:

The Soviet/Russian anthem it's fascinating, every time I hear it, I get goosebumps.

Ha, I, too like the Russian one! I just wonder if there is any other anthem that I'm unaware of that might be as beautiful or even better sounding, but so far I haven't heard one.

The comments after this video are really interesting to read :

^^^^^^

I tried hearing several others, but they all sounded so flat and boring. Even La Marseillaise was just ok, same for my own anthem.

What I'm trying to figure out is why I like it, since I understand nothing. My best guess it's something subliminal in those chorus.

I don't know my self, however the melody was written durring WWII in 1944 under the commission of Stalin, and durring that time period the soviets were the masters of patriotic music, and it was a very emotional time period, a live or die situation. So that might have translated into the song.

What I like about these is that they sound like sentimental pop songs rather than over the top choral music (i.e. Russian anthem).

Trinidad & Tobago:

Iran:

Iraq (sounds like Super Mario Castle music):

I love my country, but I gotta say that our national anthem is abysmal - not sure if it's the lyrics, melody or both.
