Why do people compare Brexit to Trump? Leaving a union peacefully compared to voting for narcissistic infantile idiot? There is no comparison.

None of your wishes could come true. Scotland had a chance to be independent but the people there were not willing to. It was the choice of the people. As for China, it split several times in its long history but it would always get united again. The rising up of China and the going down of the US are both unavoidable. This is the rule of the world. Rise up and go down and rise up and go down....

The chance to be independent Scotland had was BEFORE Brexit. After Brexit, it is a whole different story. Being part of the EU for many Scotish is more important than being part of the UK, if they could choose only one.

LOL The rising stock markets are a wager on supposed future profits. But these profits have to be earned in the future. To call stakes value is quite absurd. The stakes are worthless until they get backed in the future by rising profits.
Whereas falling income from tourism is a real loss.

Many people will have a rude awakening.

Brexit = Britain first

Trump = America first

So, they are essentially the same anti-globalist principle applied in each respective country.

But one is a fair peaceful exit the other is an idiot. One was a rational position to take even though I voted to stay the other is bewildering.

''Americas Brexit'' No America you voted for an idiot the 2nd idiot in a decade. How the fvck can Trump and Bush be elected President? Look at yourselves not abroad.

Honestly speaking, both was and still is pretty bewildering to me. While Johnson, Gove, Farage and the likes seem a bit better behaved, I don't really see Brexit as a compeltely different thing.

Well you must be blind then. Coming out a union and electing an imbecile are not the same thing. You may be pissed the EU is failing but was failing long before the UK decided to leave. I voted to stay and try and fix it but I understand why people voted to leave.
