Some of it is the foreign thing. But even here in America there are places (cities, towns, states) where women are more attractive.
It is not because of their looks specifically, but rather related to the general income levels in the areas in which they live... I have always noted that there are "hot spots" of beauty in certain cities and some states more than others.
Women in these hot spots are richer and therefore have more money to spend on makeup, getting their hair and nails done weekly. They drive more expensive cars, and wear more attractive fashions. They are not buying all their clothes off the rack and so they fit better.
With enough money and the makeup it can buy, plus the advantage of having someone there to teach women how to put that makeup on "more" correctly, it can easily turn a sow's ear into a silk purse - or at least appear to. Look at all the online articles you can find of "glamorous" famous people who are drop dead gorgeous and then look at the articles where they show those same people without makeup.
After I noticed the correlation between wealthy areas and more attractive women, I also started paying more attention to the looks of some of the women who do not wear as much - or even any makeup and realized that most of them are just as attractive, and if they could afford the expensive draping that are found in affluent areas, you probably couldn't tell the difference.
Women in other countries tend to dress nicer and groom themselves better, while in America athleisure is considered the hot fashion style.
Also America is very large and broad with all the different regions and states. I tend to find the ones in the South to be the most attractive, followed by the Midwest.

American women tend to prefer the muscular Vin Diesel looking build types, while the skinny Topher Grace built types might not be popular in America but would be considered handsome in other countries. This is just generally speaking of course.
1. American women are fat.
2. American women never walk anywhere, have forgotten how to walk with grace and dignity. They trudge wearily.
3. They have pasty complexion, from living in a dreary climate always indoors.
4. Their junk food diet contributes to 1 and 3.
5. Americans dress like slobs. Asians dress up to travel or go shopping.
6. They're mean and angry, and they look it. You see one coming down the street, you want to cross over to the other side. And you better, she'll feel threatened if you don't.
women of different nationalities can be extremely exotic. When I worked in retail 2 pretty college girls visiting from France came in to purchase iTunes gift cards and spoke very limited English. Between that and their giggly side chat in French every male was swooning. By the time they were gone I think all of my coworkers could have used a 15 min. break or cold shower.
But if they came in the shop and said nothing would it have been the same? I don't think 'French' is a 'look'?
It's probably an indirect way to say they prefer certain ethnicities. C-D has a ton of white supremacists but the rules explicilty prohibit racist comments, they have to use coded language.
It sounds less racist to say "I find women from Atlanta/Detroit less attractive."

The "Karen" types are the worst. They wear those baggy pants with the length to between the knees and ankles, and have the bob haircuts. But most important thing is personality, which those types have the worst.
Anyhow my wife is Ukrainian and when she first came to the States, she was shocked at the way the women dressed and looked. She was like "don't they want to look good for their men?" and I was like they don't need to because the men put them up on a pedestal anyway.
I think it has a lot to do with the fetishization and objectification of women, often with a notion of some kind of exoticism, sometimes racial (a type of benevolent racism) since in many cases these opinions are most strongly argued by people whose preference is for women whose general ethnic/genetic background differs from their own.
It is fine to have a preference for any type or background of woman (or man), but the insistence of their preference's superiority in terms of attractiveness, is immature at best, and always suspect in my opinion.

Very true! As a woman of colour, people in the small town I grew up in always look at me like I’m some sort of exotic species, whispering to each other trying to figure out where I’m from. Moving to a big city has made my life so much easier; I feel like I belong here even though I’ve only spent a year here and am not even a citizen of the country it’s in.
I definitely prefer men whose ethnic background is different from mine (there’s probably some biological reason for that, genetic diversity or whatever, but maybe there’s also some internal racism deep down). But I understand that everyone has their own preferences and I really can’t say any race is “objectively” more attractive than another.
It's clear that the US entertainment industry thinks black women are un-attractve. Lt is very rare for a non-white couple to be cast as a woman darker than her man. Try to think of one.
