You show nothing, you explain nothing. It's not interesting at all. You opened a ranking/ comparison thread. Well, feed the comparison with arguments, street views pictures, economic reports, search interesting facts...

I was expecting you to convince me (us) , be pedagogical, show me (us) that you are damn right.
But no you throw lists in the air, and they are 'right', period.

Why did you open this thread? What was the point lol?
Put is this way: Paris doesn't have a downtown, period. It's an ok city. That's it since it's dirty and at times filled with pandhandlers/pickpocketers. For me, this city is meh.

Your are entitled to your own personal preference just as I am, however in terms of what is a downtown or city centre there are some criteria.

This list is about the best downtowns in the world where at least cities have downtowns that are the best, period. Paris is definitely not it, sorry. It's a like a denser L.A before it finally got a real downtown just recently. You're in company: London, Berlin, Rome, Mexico City, Buenos Aires and etc.

Well I was warned (cf post #2 of this thread...) so thanks to cpomp I knew that a conversation with you isn't worth the energy used.

So far, you are incapable to prove your point, that's my point if you didn't understand it. Which you didn't.

Like cpomp said, I will stop. There's is no point to continue.

The list holds! If you want to know some of the best downtowns in the world just look this "World's best large cities' downtowns" list. I stand by this list and should be helpful for anyone who wants to travel to some of the greatest downtowns this world has to offer. I'm the Downtown Specialist. Hopefully, this will help you plan your trips a little easier.

lol at The Topper appointing him/herself the "downtown specialist". Sounds like a name someone who lives in their parent's basement would appoint for themselves.

Mom: Hey, The Topper, time for dinner. Get your butt up here.
The Topper: But Mom, I'm specializing in downtowns right now on City-Data. Give me about 5 more minutes. I'm on a specializing role.
Dad: Get off the computer. You're taking all the bandwidth.
