You mean the notorious Sunny Beach resort where the beer is cheap and so is the accomodation.
The beer is 70p which is equivalent to $1, so you can imagine the type of holidaymaker.
in Argentina, I found people working in service professions to be rude and unhelpful. Like they are obstinately working to rule. I tried really hard to like Argentina, on about five visits -- I just couldn't. Salta, Rosario, Mendoza, Neuquen, but not BA.
the only thing i didnt like about argentina was the size but thats just geography , a flight from BA to patagonia was extremely expensive so had to pass up , other than that , i really liked the place , people were friendly and charming too .
Spain.....I just do not understand how a Country in misery internally with their economy, and living REALLY off Tourism and what it brings to them, they can treat Tourists like CRAP.
You all though Paris, France was bad ??? Madrid Spain, takes the Crown and Glory.
I will NEVER ever in my life set foot in a Country full of people that treat foreigners like CRAP and Worse, and all we are doing there is helping them..
I will stick to Greece and Latin America, where you're treated like they need you and do not want to let you go.
i briefly fell out of love with spain having spent a week in valencia in 2015 , then the country fully redeemed itself when i visited majorca last year .
For the better or worse the UK tourists will decrease after Brexit it seems, but 99% of the population over here is Russian (i live in what is known as the "sunny beach's continuation"), almost sunny beach if you will. It's too crowdy and too flat (geographically there) anyway.
So long story short: things may improve of may worsen over time, we'll see in 10 years.
Thailand was not really my cup of tea. The scenery is wonderful but everything around it is a big dump filled with trash, smells and lots of annoying tourists - either the all-inclusive type or the oh-so-alternative backpackers. And yes, I know that I was a tourist there as well, but still. Would not return there.
Last year I went to BCN (Barcelona) mainly for the F1 race at Circuit de Catalunya. Was able to visit Montserrat, Parc Guell, Las Ramblas, Sagrada Famalia....experienced a little bit of the city life while my friend (who flew in from EWR) and I stayed at an AIRBNB about 25 mins away by train from all the tourists sites.
The neighborhood of the airbnb was not toooooo bad, but not a ritz carlton type of area...but overall I felt safe.....
Easy. Thailand. I have no idea why it's such a tourist destination.
Where in Thailand have you been?
