I feel like it often is overlooked when in reality many of the difference are due in large part to age difference. here in the US the average 45 year old is more than twice as wealthy as the average 35 year old. This trend continues for every decade up until 70. The average American is 38, but when you break this down by race average age for whites is 44, blacks 34, and 29 for Hispanics. Looking at wealth distribution by age groups the average white person would be more than 2x as wealthy as the average Black American, and Hispanic American. This also seems to drive the perception of minorities having more children when we know the average white American women has a fertility rate of 1.45, black American women 1.65, and Hispanic American women at 1.85. leaving all Below the established fertility rate for population sustainment. Most folks have children in their 20s and 30s regardless of race meaning the average Black and Hispanic family would have kids meanwhile for white families the kids would be much older in comparison. I feel like this explains alot, but is often never talked about. I know that minorities especially blacks haven't really inherited much and diminishes wealth dramatically as most wealth in this country is inherited rather than "earned".
