I don't really think anyone is bothered what Irene thinks.

I think more sane members of the forum, and those who have actually visited London know the truth.

As for the constant trolling, perhaps if a enough people report it something will be done.

That doesn't mean that someone can't feel one or all of these are overrated, since that's a pretty subjective judgment.

If you read between the lines, the common complaint is that these cities are expensive.

This is why I strongly suggest that people save up extra money before they visit New York City, London or Paris. You need to keep that wallet or bank account fat before you step foot in these cities.

There is a line between what is subjective and constantly trolling things without any real evidence, just for the sake of trolling.

Indeed if you go back to the initial post, it's clear the entire thread was meant as some attack on London.

I am all for fair analysis but constant juvenile attacks on cities, without any real basis or evidence, is just school yard type trolling, which is what Irene and her ilk specialise in.

I think you could visit all three cities on a budget, as there are lots of free activities to do in each one, as well as free museums in London, and lots of neighbourhoods to explore, many with cheaper foods on sale.

All three cities are vast, and it would take you many years to explore most of the cities.

Whilst all three are diverse and vibrant.

So according to easthome if someone claims they did not find London to be that great then they must be reported because they are either A)Trolls, or B) Irene.

Grow up mate.

No I didn't like london.

The weather is not nice.

----------

It is prohibitively expensive. 5.50pounds for a single ride on the tube!! (that is a scam, come on)

------------

Nightlife is mediocre..... 50% of all of London's nightlife venues have closed in the last ten years because of lack of customers.
Madrid, Rio, Ibiza, Miami is not!! It does not matter what british people say here about nightlife in London..... London's nightlife is largely mediocre, especially considering how big the city is it certainly lacks vibe.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xe-iKfEyBA&t=1s

-----------

It's gentrified,
and full of cool wannabe middle classes.

so any artistic energy, or urban feel is gone.... it's largely occupied by snobby european middle class kids from switzerland or Italy that think living in london is trendy because it's a big city.

-------------------------

It's full of tourist traps.

-----------------------

It's dangerous

----------------

it's full of ANNOYING people

Any one can put up a few unflattering images, although youtubers such as the Watched Walker, do some good London vlogs if any one is interested.

Watched Walker - Youtube Channel

Still it looks like you are no longer a members psv.

So lets draw a line under all of this, and go on to try and find positives in each and every city and part of the world rather than negatives.

The weather's 'not nice'!? Lol, that ole stereotype eh! What's wrong with it exactly!!? Incidentally today parts of Germany, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands are being washed away, hundreds of people have died or had their properties destroyed, meanwhile London was sunny, warm (perhaps a bit too hot) and ideal for a bit of sightseeing, nobody died because of the weather...... just saying.

It's expensive!? Lol, that ole stereotype eh!
Did you know it's Capitalist? You could always shop at the Pound Shopsif you want to, there are thousands in London!!?

It's nightlife is 'mediocre'!!? That's not even a bad stereotype!!? So what nightlife' do 'other' cities have that London lacks EXACTLY!!?

It's 'full of wannabe middle classes'!!? Lol, you have EVERY class of person living in London from people of no fix d about to multi millionaires, there are 9 million (or there abouts) Londoners, every one of them unique!!?

It's 'full of tourist traps'!!? Lol, it's the world's most tourist city! Justdon't go to the London eye then!!? I go out in London without having to go to Madame Tussauds for entertainment!!? (Daft thing to say)!!?

It's dangerous!!? This is a joke right!? It's one of the safest cities for its size ON THE PLANET! That's just a fact!

You've obviously never even been anywhere near to London, your arguments are ridiculous, not everyone has to love London of course but I ask again:-
What does London (or New York for that matter) actually 'lack' compared to ANY other city?

Would you please give this guy a break. So what he doesn't like London, he is entitled to his opinion! Lots of people on this board hate Los Angeles, but I love it, and wouldn't live anywhere else. New York, London, and Paris are great places to visit, but I wouldn't live in any of them.

Actually, you need to know a local. Locals don't spend the money tourists do but know where all the bargains are, good food reasonably priced, and places to see that are free or close to it, and tourist traps to avoid.

To answer the question, Denver.
