"Hubby" is one that I hate. It's so classless, awkward, and messy... it's in the same vein as chubby, bub, grub, etc.

I hate that, too. Also seems to be trendy these days to say "Kiddos" for Kids.

I never saw that until I came to CD. I was wondering why so many women referred to their husbands as dick heads.

Aw, that's so awesome! said she with a wink and nod. (I'd never say awesome in real life).

Several of those I've never even heard before. One word I've made an effort to use a lot less is "actually". And I've actually made some progr...Argh!

For some reason I always interpreted that as "Damn husband".

I get an email approximately every 5 minutes at work asking me to "reach out" to someone if I have questions etc. But they never tell me how to push my arm through the computer monitor ....

You guys came up with some good ones and I agree "preggers" is revolting somehow. Man cave is so annoying and along with awesome, I vote "epic" as an abused word, used in practically any youtube comment or other internet praise. There is a very good blog on how "not everything is epic" by a guy named maddox but it could offend so I won't link even though it is very funny.
