I don't know if it's just me, but did ppl used to answer "yes, I do" instead of "I do", which is all that I ever hear these days. It's often answered flippantly- "iiiiiii do". Was it just me? Back in the mid 90s when Ellen "came out" on a Time magazine cover, it read, "YES, I am", NOT "I am".
