Just saw this when I was checking my morning e-mail.

Originally from the Associated Press.

Pretty big last couple of days up here! Psyched for everyone who now gets to marry the one they love.

Too bad. Obviously they didn't put it to a vote.

I noticed the article leaned on the Shepherd case, a drug deal gone bad and the news still leans on it. Sad.

Discrimination is against the constitution. You can not vote to discriminate.

It is extremely problematic to leave the rights of a minority group up to the will of the people - otherwise the south might very well still be segregated. It's a bit more complex than voting on say, a noise ordinance. Civil rights and constitution interpretation issues are for the courts to decide.

A great day for Wyoming and The United States of America! One more state that has marriage equality.

Great news! 32 states down, 18 to go. Humans should be legally allowed to marry who they love and who they're attracted to. There is absolutely no valid case against marriage equality and the majority of Americans now support it.

In addition to Wyoming, Alaska and and Arizona also have it too now!

As a gay person myself, this makes me feel more welcome in Wyoming. I've never been there, but hope to visit some time next year.

Furthermore, civil rights are NOT supposed to be left up to the general population to vote on. It is unconstitutional, because you can't place the rights of an individual at the mercy of the general public's approval. The real world is diverse and full of different types of people, because that's just nature.
