I saw a news story on Gillette and how great it was and jobs galore. Can anyone share their experience. My boyfriend is an experienced welder. The news story said welders make six figures? How is the housing and school situations. Thank you

There are jobs everywhere in Gillette. You just need to be able to pass the drug test and for some jobs have a clean driving record. My husband works up there. We have a couple of friends who are welders there and they do make in the six figures. It is a little difficult to find housing there and it is expensive. There are ads in the newspaper and there are several property management offices there. Check on the internet to get their numbers. Our friends have been happy with the schools - however, they are all very involved in the schools, either on the school board or as volunteers in the classrooms.
