You may want to ask in the SC subforum of York County. But most of RH is nice. It is a moderate size city, about 80k plus, so there are some pockets of crime. It is about a 30 min drive to uptown Charlotte, w/o traffic. My gf's family has lived there for 10 years and like it.
There's relatively low crime in Rock Hill, and even then, it's largely confined to a few certain areas.
The commute to Charlotte will depend on exactly where in Rock Hill you reside. If you have quick access to one of the major thoroughfares that intersect with I-77 (e.g., Celanese Road, Cherry Road, Dave Lyle Blvd), then it will be quicker than if you resided more towards the central/west sides of the city (I-77 runs through the eastern part of the city).
This is an affordable town, definitely more so than Charlotte.
Does anyone know how the area is in Rock Hill? Crime, Commute to Charlotte, Cost of living ect.?
by reading your threads/posts..it appears that you are looking around at several different areas...with that said...you may want to use the "Search" feature on this site...as there is alot of information that can be gained in regard to Rock Hill from previous threads/post (in addition to what others have already provided you with here).
Closer in to downtown. None of the complexes I recommended to you are close to those areas.
