Locally & American owned alterations shop (Rock Hill, Fort Mill: prices, shopping center, food)

I am trying to find a locally owned and American owned alterations shop in Fort Mill, Rock Hill or Charlotte. Ive been to a few and every one of them seems to be the same. They are all in dry cleaning places, where they sent the dry cleaning out, and the person who is there doesnt do the alterations, there mother does, who doesnt speak english. Id like to find something local (and not a huge network of stores) and one where I can speak to the person doing the alteration.

I've gotten many things altered at Faith Cleaners on Carmel Road in Charlotte. It's next to the Post Office. They are a dry cleaner, and they are oriental but the alteration work is done on premises by the owner who speaks English. Their prices are very reasonable.

In Indian Land on 521 in the Food lion shopping center there is an alteration / shoe repair shop. I've never been in there but it may meet your needs.

Kim's Alteration at the corner of 160 and Gold Hill at the Food Lion center. She does speak English even if she is Asian, and always has it ready when promised. It is a stand alone alteration place, not a dry cleaner.
