There is a sign telling thru trucks that they cannot go on 160 from the peach stand to where the new Walgreens is, yet ive been seeing a lot of trucks going this way. Ive followed these trucks and they just drive on thru, never stopping for a delivery. How do the cops enforce this? How do they know the truck made a delivery or is making one? Is it something I can report to the police? They are supposed to be taking Truck 160.

I'm assuming they don't try to make the turn at by the old springs buildings near downtown fort mill? That's a tight squeeze. So do they go down to the train tracks and through downtown?

As an ex trucker I'm telling you that you really don't want to be on a "No trucks allowed" route. The fines can be enormous and if you have any kind of accident in the area it's always going to be 100% your fault because you are not supposed to be there in the first place. If they have just created this no trucks area then maybe the cops are just giving the truckers a while to adjust.

No, they usually turn left at the Founders to avoid downtown, but they should be turning left onto truck 160 at the peach stand. Instead they are going 160 all the way through Fort Mill.

Yesterday, a truck took 160, left at the founders, and then at the light that says NO LEFT TURN, takes a left turn. Im talking 18 wheelers here, not straight trucks.

Maybe they are going to the Fort Mill Magistrate's Court to pay for a ticket. That is where the Transport Police hold court, and where the truckers go to pay for their ticket in person. When I worked there, we would sometimes have a trucker show up in their 18 wheeler to pay for a ticket in person, and I always wondered how they maneuvered around.
