Towns with great High School Marching Band and Academics (Fort Mill: high schools, moving to)

I'm considering moving to the Charlotte/Fort Mill area and trying to find out which high schools in the area have the best marching bands. I would prefer a school that competes in BOA. Also looking for great academics for my gifted child.

Any suggestions?

Nation Ford High School. Both of my boys attend(ed) there. My oldest graduated from NAFO last year. They have an awesome marching band and they do compete in BOA. Also, it's a top notch school academically as FM schools are rated among the best in the state.

Both Fort Mill high school bands are the best in the state and regularly compete in national competitions. Both schools also are regularly considered the best in the state academically.
