The new Indian Land Middle School will open tomorrow (1/15/08) in the old Indian Land High School building. The old building has been remodeled and expanded to the tune of about 8 million dollars over the past 6 months. The crazy thing is, the old Indian Land High School sign is still standing in front of the building. The high school moved to it's new building on River Road last June!!!! Anyone driving by on 521 tomorrow will think they are seeing IL High School. IMHO, this reflects a real lack of school pride, at least on the part of the school administration. Please tell me the sign will be removed (and a new ILMS sign erected) immediately!

The Indian Land High School sign was removed on Thursday---9 days after ILMS opened at that location. Now, if they can get a sign reflecting the new school.....
