The York County Planning Commission has a new 'overlay' proposal which covers a larger area of the county. The original plans encompassed only the shores of Lake Wylie.

I don't see where this new proposal will stop developers. A developer has purchased 100 acres on Hwy 274 and has requested a zoning change to residential with plans to build 350 houses.
