I am looking to relocate to the Fort Mill area with my ten year old daughter and my mother, who has a few medical conditions (diabetes, two heart attacks), and while reading through the forum doing my research I see mentions of a hospital to stay away from and then the other hospital you may end up in traffic on the way to.
We really need to be within ten minutes of a good hospital, in case of emergency. Can you please help me narrow down the area I should be looking at?
I'm looking for a home around $300K, new construction is good, or recently built, with an excellent school system. I'd prefer to stay in SC for tax reasons, but am I right in thinking that the "good" hospital is in NC?
We live near Regent Park in Fort Mill and we're about a 15 minute drive from CMC (Carolinas Healthcare System), Pineville which is an excellent hospital. I had some serious medical issues over the past two years and they were amazing.
It's harder to find anything within 10 minutes of Fort Mill that I would consider a good quality hospital.
