Description: On the New Meadows River, Cundy’s Harbor is a classic fishing village, right in the middle of the Midcoast but away from all the bustle. From the harbor you can see this stunning old Greek Revival home, up a rise with its cupola towering over nearby homes. The cupola is only one of the fine features of the place (two guest rooms have access), which dates back to 1862. Another nice one is the Symbion, the house sloop, available to take you out on the water. The rooms have private baths and are in keeping with the rest of the house with their antiques and quilts, and all have water views. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the formal dining room or on a tray outside. The Captain’s Watch is a fine old place in a spectacular setting.
