Description: The World Bird Sanctuary is a bird facility like no other in the world. Visitors are able to view eagles, owls, hawks, and other creatures in a majestic park setting. There are also a variety of educational programs, nature trails, and displays that help visitors understand the relationship between birds, their environment, and humans. Naturalists are on hand to discuss the birds’ role in the world and the problems they face, with many of the “teacher” birds on display for up-close viewing. Open daily.
