I went into this AT&T branch because I was being told people couldn't hear me on the other end of the line. I had a Samsung S5 Active, 18 months old. I believe the mic was going bad as replacing the SIM card did nothing which was their one attempt to fix it. It didn't work so I upgraded to the S6 Active. I own a business and all of my clients, friends and family contacts are stored in my phone. I don't mess with the backups that come with my phones as I assume they are all backed up to a cloud network automatically or saved through my Google account. Let me state, I had no problems with my contact list or anything else with the phone, only the mic. Travis, the sales person I worked with assured me they could transfer mostly everything to my new phone except for some audio files which was fine. I got the phone and he started the transfer process. When he was done, I only had 32 contacts. Now I don't count my contacts to boost my ego, but I would bet anyone I had 200+ contacts in my phone when I went into the store, including my clients. In addition this was all right after Travis explained to me that the Clay store people (the store I usually deal with) didn't know what they were doing and that if he did something wrong or misrepresented some detail it was on him and on their store. I left both of the phones at the store for them to try and find the contacts and fix the problem for a couple hours. When I came back they hadn't been able to fix it. They had no suggestions. I was pretty upset at this point, I need my contacts in order to call my clients, pretty simple. I talked to the manager and he told me Travis had done nothing wrong, they went through the old phone and there were now only 32 contacts in there and those contacts were in my new phone, coming across strongly like I was lying about having more contacts in my phone. He wouldn't accept any of the blame for this issue for Travis or himself making it out like it was my fault or that I was lying like stated above, not apologetic but snide. As a retail store manager he did nothing to try to fix the issue, make amends, or to make me happy about the work and inconvenience they added to me by deleting more than 75 percent of my contacts. I would never go to this branch again or even buy accessories there as you can get any of those accessories much cheaper online now anyhow. I would definitely not recommend anyone go there as the manager and employees are not responsible adults but most likely one, new to the business store manager, and high school or college students or drop outs who don't take the responsibility to double check that the old phone is backed up before they begin a transfer and delete your contacts!
