The YMCA needs to take lessons in customer service. They say they are a health club yet they allow the aerobic instructors to blast the music and turn the microphones on so loudly one has to wear ear plugs if they want to participate. They do not appreciate their longtime members. They take an extensive amount of time to repair equipment or just don't do it at all.
Would you recommend Capital Region YMCA to others? No

This is where I used to attend lock-ins and summer activities, specifically when I was in a YMCA-sponsored group in high school called Tri-Hi-Y. I also took my son as a baby here to swim. This is the facility where he first learned to love swimming and going in the water. I saw on Facebook that it may be closed down. I am sorry to hear that!
