Observed soap and paper towels at sink in kitchen. Discussed with operator time window for serving food. Also discussed sell by and expiration dates. |

(Corning Catering delivery person temped food with accurate probe thermometer when it was delivered to facility. Confirmed temperatures with thermocouple.) Facility then portions for the children and serves immediately. Reviewed with daycare operator washing hands and avoiding barehand contact with ready-to-eat foods. Soap and paper towels available at sink in kitchenette at day care. Also reviewed with daycare operator that margarine is a potentially hazardous food, and must be kept refrigerated except when out for immediate use, such as when buttering slices of bread. |
