  • Equipment in Good Repair & Proper Adjustment (46.671)
    --Mounted can opener blade severely dented/nicked and bent, no longer sharp or in good repair. Facility has a secondary can opener blade that was switched out and shall be used. Remember to check the condition of equipment/utensils and repair or replace as needed.
  • Quality of Water (46.804)
    --Food facility is using an approved non-public water system, but does not have current laboratory testing results for water potability. Latest bacteriological water test results available and reviewed for coliform dated 10/21/2009. This was addressed in last years inspection report comments. Facility still has the list of commercial laboratories and PA water testing policy. Owner called and contracted Microbac Laboratories, Inc from the Erie testing division during the inspection to set up the required annual testing for Nitrate/Nitrite and bi-annually testing (two times a year) for Coliform. Water is used for coffee and tea drinks. Owner to immediately mail/fax a copy of the bacteriological water test results once received.
