    --Facility using tongs for consumer self-service of un-packaged hot held pizza. Facility only has one small sink in store front that is currently stocked as a handwash sink, and does not have adequate facilities for warewashing. Steramine brand Quat. tablets available. As discussed, a handwash sink may NOT be used for warewashing purposes.
  • Food Temperature Measuring Devices Provided (46.632)
    --Thermometers for ensuring proper temperatures of food are not available or readily accessible.
  • 3 Pa.C.S.A Secs. 6501-6510 (FEC)
    --Retail Food store is selling unpackaged hot held pizza for consumer self service, PIC stated they have been doing this since for more than 90 days. PIC stated pizza is delivered from Jezepes Pizza & Subs (which is licensed and inspected facility in Cochranton) and placed into the hot hold unit, any left over pizza is discarded at the close of business. As discussed, this does not meet FEC exemptions and the facility is required to have a certified food handler. FEC handout reviewed and given.
