Luray: The president slept here, just outside Luray, VA User note: I don't think the president ever slept here. This looks like the White House at White House Bridge in Luray. The bridge got it's name from the house. The bridge was burned in General Jackson's Valley Campaign of 1862, but has been rebuilt since. The house itself was owned by a small mennonite congregation.
