Famous dishes: chicken tikka masala (chicken baked in tandoori oven and cooked in a tomato and butter sauce), chicken chettinad (chicken curry infused with Indian spices in coconut and cashwe nut sauce), tandoori chicken (chicken marinated with yogurt and Indian spices, baked in tandoor oven), lamb samosas (crispy golden pastries with fresh ground lamb and peas), saag paneer (cubes of Indian cottage cheese chunks cooked in a spinach sauce), also tandoori breads.
