When I decided to start the business, it was important that the name conveyed the atmosphere that I would be fostering. Growing up in England, we often used the name “poppet” as a term of endearment for a child, so what better name to choose than one that meant “Happy Children”. Activities at Merry Poppets include structure & free playtime, large and small motor skill activities, circle time, arts and crafts and other educational, yet fun activities. All meals and snacks will be provided to your child while in my care - lunches are home-made daily. I strive to provide a healthy, varied diet and base it on the USDA MyPyramid for Kids, including grains, vegetables, fruits, milk and meat & beans.
