- Susanna L.K. Aldridge, DVM has been the owner of Tender Loving Care Animal Hospital for over three years. She has been a practicing veterinarian since 2001. Formerly known as Martinsville Animal Hospital, Dr. Aldridge and Dr Snyder have come together to bring a higher level of medicine to the animal population of Martinsville and surrounding areas. The mission statement is as follows: Our Hospital serves pets and people by providing state-of-the-art pet medical care while helping clients understand their pets' needs. Compassion towards pets and their people is our priority in every interaction. Knowledge empowers us to make the best decisions: Our doctors and staff commit to regularly pursuing continuing education and to teaching clients about recommended care and treatment options. We will respect the animals entrusted to us, the people who love them, and our co-workers who strive to fulfill this mission daily. Dr. Susanna Aldridge earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She took over the former Martinsville Veterinary Hospital in January 2008 and changed the name to Tender Loving Care Animal Hospital. She is pictured with Sierra, her golden retriever, and official hospital greeter. Her furry family also includes a mixed breed dog, Misty, and two cats, Squeaky and Pickles. Her human family includes husband Tim and children Spencer, 6, and Ashley, 3. Dr. Aldridge has a special interest in client education, pain management, and behavior. She is the 2001 recipient of Purdue's Bastien Award for Compassionate Canine Care.
