- I started operating a homebased travel agency in 2004 when I retired from 30 years as a teacher. My wife and I have travelled extensively throught out the United States, Europe, England, and Ireland. We have cruised from 3 days to 19 days, seeing the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Alaska, and transatlantic. I joined Travel Counsellors 3 years ago to have access to the largest world wide network of Travel Counsellors available. I maintain numerous destination specialties, cruise line certifications, and industry certifications.
