Vermont - a great place to live.
I have lived here and worked as a Realtor in Vermont for over 30 years. My son is a film maker (Michael Fisher on Facebook) and my husband recently retired from the New England Culinary Institute.
I am a down to earth person who cares deeply that my buyers and sellers are cared for and have the best experience possible in buying or selling a house. I crawl through the basement looking for problems. If I notice anything questionable, you are going to know about it right away. I am known for wanting the most exacting inspection possible.
My clients are loyal with repeat business because they know I put their interests in front of mine every single time. No commission is worth an unhappy customer. This is the biggest purchase or transaction a person will probably ever do in their life and it has to be right. To me, working in Real Estate is not just "doing business". It is about emotions, hopes, families and making a good life for someone.
I work with all segments of the population. I love working with people who might need extra attention like people whose first language may not be English or those who need special attention with financing or need to find a unique property. At the same time, I work well with people looking for their dream - on the lake, in Burlington City itself, or out in the country.
I love houses and meeting people where ever - I just spent an extended period of time exploring Costa Rica, Panama, Savanannah, Georgia and the Chesapeake Bay area of Maryland. I am also currently studying spanish. I am a licensed attorney and while I don't mix the two fields, I do bring attention to detail to my work as a Realtor.
I principly work in the following counties: Chittenden (Burlington, South Burlington, Charlotte, Shelburne, Richmond, Hinesburg, Williston, Essex, Underhill, Jericho, Westford, Milton etc), Lamoille County (Jefferson, Cambridge etc),Franklin County (Fairfax, etc), and Grand Isle (the Islands - South Hero, Grand Isle, North Hero, and Alburgh).
In one of the postings, someone asked something like: Is there a bad place to live in Vermont? Probably not but within the beauty of our very green State, there are little issues and that is my job to make sure you know about them.
