- We are a New Thought Practical Christian church, healing center and spiritual community located in Long Beach, California, founded in 1927 by Dr. Eugene E. and Hattie I. Garlichs. We conduct Sunday Services at 11:00 AM at the Whaley Community Center 5620 East Atherton Street, on the grounds of Whaley Park. There is convenient parking lots on both sides of the community center. There is always coffee and converstation following the service to greet old friends and make new ones.
