| Description: | AK Martial Arts and Fitness is located in the new, Leeds Certified, 6,000 SQFT RealFit4Life Building in the Towers Business Park in Bressi Ranch Carlsbad. We are located between Staples and Trader Joes off off Palomar Airport Road and Gateway Road. Our Specialty Gym offers Martial Arts, Tournament Training, Personal Training, Speed and Agility Training, Yoga, Boot Camps with Sean Salazar and more. Our Gym is unique; we do not charge gym fees or make our members sign long term contracts. You pay as you go. Our hours vary - some boot camps start as early as 6 am and our martial arts programs late as 8 pm. Monday through Saturday and Sunday special events. It is best to call us on times to fit your needs. Our Pro Shop includes Century, Tiger Claw and SanBon Gear products. Our Specialty Gym is complete with full service, private gym, free Wi-Fi, Lego Room, waiting area, vending machines and close circuit tv. Our facility is the home of several world Tang Soo Do champions that are kids and adults. We specialize in traditional martial arts training for tournaments at no additional fees to our members. We provide many community events to help support local schools and non-profit organizations: Parent Night Outs, Laser Tag Nights, Safety Open House, Boo Walk, Play It Safe Self Defense with Tracie Arlington, PayItForward Program, Business Fairs and much more. We are the home of the non-profit Red Dragon Booster Club that provides help to families in need during the holiday season and scholarship programs for international tournament travel for our AKMA Members. We were voted the number one Martial Arts Facility in San Diego County in 2010 by the Channel 10 A-List Award. | |
