- Wilton Sash & Door Co. was founded in 1948 by Herman Buchholz. His sons Gordon and Verlyn also worked with him. Building homes and cabinets were their speciality. Verlyn's son Scott now runs the business that handles all aspects of construction. Everything from new homes, additions, garages to drywall, custom cabinets and ceramic tile work...even stained glass! You name it, and we probably do it! Expert craftsmanship learned from three of the best in the business. We offer free estimates and personal service. As Grandpa's motto says: "We Know Our Business".
