The history of Santa Claus, Indiana comes alive in the many displays of the Santa Claus Museum. The museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that opened in 2006. It displays exhibits and documents of how Santa Claus received its unique name, our first post office, Candy Castle, Santa Claus Park, and Santa Claus Land. The museum also features the history of Santa letters, a tradition started in 1928 that has greatly impacted the town of Santa Claus.
